FROM PAST TO PRESENT
GOING THE EXTRA MILE
​What began as a one man operation in Belgium has grown into a pan-European logistics company serving producers, wholesalers, and retailers in the most demanding markets.
1994
A Family Legacy Begins
John Driege starts with daily mussel imports from the Netherlands, serving clients in Wallonia and Luxembourg. As demand grows, the company expands into fish transport and purchases its first refrigerated truck, a bold step that laid the foundation for everything to come.
2002
Zeebrugge Cold Platform Launch
With demand rising, John Driege opens a cooled logistics platform in Zeebrugge, where goods from multiple sources are consolidated, prepared, and redistributed across the Belgium and Luxemburg.
2009
Expansion of the Neufchâteau plant
To better serve Wallonia and Luxembourg, John Driege invests in a logistics site in Neufchâteau (Longlier), strengthening the company’s regional footprint and service capacity.
2010
John Driege France is Born
The company crosses another border and establishes John Driege France, specializing in seafood groupage and order preparation for the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
2014
Acquisition of Bosteels (Boulogne-sur-Mer)
To expand its presence in France, John Driege acquires Bosteels, a Boulogne-based company focused on preparing and handling seafood. Another major step in international growth and seafood specialization.
2018
New Cold Platform in Jabbeke
To further accommodate increasing volumes and improve operational flow, the Zeebrugge site is replaced by a larger, modern facility in Jabbeke. This move boosts groupage and storage capabilities.
Groundbreaking in Boulogne-sur-Mer
2021
With support from loyal customers and a dedicated team, construction begins on a new state-of-the-art logistics center in Boulogne-sur-Mer, expanding seafood prep and distribution capacity at the gateway to the French tide station.
2024
Ouverture de la nouvelle plateforme à Boulogne-Sur-mer
In 2024, we opened our new platform in Boulogne-sur-Mer to strengthen our presence and grow in the French market.
Opening of our new platform in Anderlecht.
2025
In 2025, we opened our new platform in Anderlecht to establish a central hub in Belgium.
